Clarence typifies the unyielding spirit of a go-getter. At only 11, he joined his school to extend his love for the game beyond the games he had watched on TV. Currently, He plays as a point guard. At thirteen, he has tucked two years of experience under his jersey and he is not about to stop.

At a young age, Clarence has achieved a delicate balance between class work and sports. He is exceptionally keen on his studies and his grades and teacher bear testimony of his excellence. One moment you see him in class taking notes and listening keenly to his teachers, next he’s donning his jersey at the Moi Educational Center, Nairobi to take on a worthy opponent.

Clarence never passes an opportunity to learn a new thing. Even though his peers see him as their hero on the court, he believes that there is always room to learn more.

“I feel happy and blessed to be in the Basketball Experience, I hope to learn new skills and have fun.”

His basketball hero is Kyrie Irving who plays for the Dallas Mavericks. “I love to watch him play and I hope that one day I will be like him in the game.”
